Changing the password requires a reset and if you use a password manager with generated passwords it is almost impossible to copy paste the password in either the whole app reloads when you switch in and out (because the password keyboard doesn’t work in the app) or when you want to paste the input box has the paste button show only for a fraction of a second. Even more painful is changing your password (when it inevitably resets because apprent security).
